ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST

I believe the therapeutic relationship can be one of, if not the most, powerful tools in achieving personal growth. I believe that you are the expert in your life, and, through a positive and collaborative relationship, I can assist you in obtaining the answers already living within you that may have been dimmed by past or present life experiences.

I offer a non-judgmental, kind and empathetic person-centered approach during sessions. We will have fun in a calming and relaxed environment. I want you to look forward to coming to sessions, while also getting the resolutions you desire through evidence-based practices that are proven to be effective and long lasting. I believe with proper psychoeducation, effective coping skills, and emotional processing you will soon obtain the life you desire with my utmost support throughout the journey.

I integrate various therapeutic modalities to support your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for addressing negative thought patterns, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma healing. Psychodynamic Therapy helps uncover and resolve deep-seated emotional conflicts, while Person-Centered Therapy offers a non-judgmental, empathetic environment for self-exploration. By combining these approaches, I tailor our sessions to foster your personal growth and emotional well-being.

I am an EMDR-trained therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate a broad range of concerns. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, attachment issues, and supporting adult children of parents with personality disorders. I have advanced training in Attachment-Based EMDR and offer EMDR intensives to those seeking a more focused and efficient opportunity for healing.

I received my master’s in clinical psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University and have been practicing in the field for four years. I completed my Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) training through EMDR Professional Training, an EMDRIA-approved provider.

Becoming a therapist was a natural path for me, shaped by my own transformative experiences with therapy and a passion for holistic healing. My personal journey revealed the profound impact that compassionate, integrative care can have on mental and emotional well-being, inspiring me to help others find their path to healing and growth. Holistic healing involves looking at all aspects of a person’s well-being, including mental, emotional, and physical health. I am dedicated to helping others navigate their paths to well-being, honoring each individual's unique needs and experiences. This comprehensive approach helped me, and now I aim to provide the same level of care to my clients, focusing on practical strategies to improve overall health and resilience.
