ASSOCIATE MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST

I believe in a culturally attuned approach to therapy that is tailored to an individual's unique experience and needs. I am passionate about helping people to be the best versions of themselves and work collaboratively to help gain an understanding of yourself and how you relate to the world and others.

Through my experience working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment facility, I take a holistic approach to treatment and prefer to work alongside a dietician, psychiatrist and medical doctor to ensure you are getting the best care possible. My therapeutic approach integrates HAES (Health at Every Size) and Intuitive Eating to focus on improving your relationship with food and yourself. I use a relational approach to help explore past experiences and combine this with concrete interventions for behavioral change, such as exposure response therapy, CBT, DBT, and the trauma resiliency model. I can happily give referrals for trusted dietitians, primary care physicians and psychiatrists to help you build your recovery team.

After working more than a decade in the entertainment industry with artists, musicians and film/TV creators, I bring extensive experience and insight into my clinical practice to better help individuals in the creative community. I am strengths focused and approach therapy with compassion, empathy and empowerment. I use a trauma informed, systemic approach to gain insight on life-long patterns, and use CBT and DBT modalities when appropriate. I would like to help you find your calm, find your passion, and find your confidence.

My prior experience includes working with individuals, couples and families in a variety of settings including a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment facility specializing in eating disorders.
